How ChurchNest uses cookies and similar technologies, and the choices you have.

This Cookie Policy explains how ChurchNest uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit our website or use the ChurchNest web application (together, the "Services"). It should be read together with our Privacy Policy. In this Policy, "ChurchNest," "we," "us," and "our" mean Inspiring-Life Technologies Pvt. Ltd., #308, Webel IT Park, P1 Taratala Road, Kolkata 700088, India. A "cookie" is a small file or item of information stored on or accessed from your device. Similar technologies can include local storage, pixels, tags, scripts and other browser or device storage and access technologies.
We may use these technologies for the following purposes: • Strictly necessary: to provide requested features, maintain sessions, authenticate users, protect accounts, prevent abuse, route traffic and keep the Services secure. • Preferences and functionality: to remember choices such as language, interface settings or other preferences, if and when we offer them. • Analytics and performance: to understand how our website and Services are used, diagnose problems and improve performance. Our website analytics is cookieless: it does not store identifiers on your device. • Marketing or advertising: we do not use these technologies. If we ever introduce them, we will do so only where permitted by law and, when required, after your consent.

Our public website pages do not require you to accept any cookies to browse. Website analytics is provided by Vercel Web Analytics, which does not use cookies and does not track you across websites.
Where applicable law requires consent, ChurchNest will not activate non-essential cookies or similar technologies until you make the relevant choice. Strictly necessary technologies may operate without consent where the law permits, because they are required to provide a service you requested or to keep it secure. We currently use only strictly necessary technologies and cookieless analytics, so we do not show a cookie banner. If we introduce optional technologies, we will provide Accept, Reject and granular settings, and you will be able to change your choice at any time. Rejecting optional technologies will not prevent access to core ChurchNest functionality, although some optional features or preferences may work differently. You can also use your browser controls to block or delete cookies. Browser controls may affect login sessions or other features that depend on strictly necessary storage.
For visitors in the EEA and UK, we provide information about the technologies we use and obtain consent before using non-essential technologies where consent is required. Choices must be specific enough for the purposes offered, and you must be able to change them. Because we do not currently set non-essential cookies, no consent is needed for the technologies listed in this Policy.
Where required by applicable US state privacy law, ChurchNest recognizes legally required browser-based opt-out preference signals, including Global Privacy Control. We do not sell Personal Data or share it for targeted or cross-context behavioral advertising. Our Privacy Policy explains our broader US privacy rights.
Some technologies may be provided by third parties that help us host, secure, analyze or operate the Services, such as our hosting provider (Vercel) and our authentication provider (Supabase). When a third party receives Personal Data, its role and handling of that information also depend on our agreement with that provider and applicable law. When you choose to pay for a plan, you are redirected to our payment provider, PayU, to complete your payment securely. PayU may set its own cookies on its pages, under its own cookie and privacy policies. We will not add analytics, advertising pixels, session-replay tools or similar technologies to production without privacy review, appropriate contractual safeguards and an update to this Policy and, where required, to our consent mechanism.
ChurchNest acts as a processor or service provider for Church Data as described in our Privacy Policy and the applicable agreement with the Church. Church Data must not be used to create advertising profiles or for cross-context behavioral advertising. Cookies or analytics used for ChurchNest's own website or product operations are not used to circumvent the access, purpose and tenant-isolation protections that apply to Church Data.
We may update this Cookie Policy when our technologies, providers, legal requirements or Services change. We will update the "Last updated" date above and provide additional notice where required.
