Account & Data Deletion

You are in full control of your data. Here's everything you need to know about deleting your ChurchNest account and what happens to your information.

You can delete your account directly from within the ChurchNest app — no support request needed. Simply follow these steps:

Open ChurchNestLaunch the app and make sure you're signed in to your account.

Go to your ProfileTap the Profile icon in the navigation bar.

Open SettingsTap the Settings icon at the top of your profile screen.

Tap "Delete Account"Scroll to the bottom and select Delete Account. Confirm when prompted.

Your account and all associated data will be permanently removed from our servers within 24 hours of your deletion request.

When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed from our systems:

Profile InformationName, email, photo, bio
Account CredentialsLogin details and password
Location DataSaved and usage-based location info
Usage HistoryApp activity and interaction logs
Church AssociationsGroup memberships and ministry links
Anonymized AnalyticsAggregate, non-identifiable usage stats

Anonymized, non-identifiable analytics may be retained to help improve our platform. This data cannot be traced back to you in any way.

Please review these important considerations before deleting your account:

Deletion is permanent. Once your account is deleted, this action cannot be undone. You will lose access to all your data, connections, and history within ChurchNest.

Church administrators. If you manage a church on ChurchNest, please transfer admin access to another member before deleting your account to ensure uninterrupted service for your community.

Active subscriptions. Deleting your account does not automatically cancel any paid subscription. Please cancel your subscription separately before proceeding to avoid future charges.
